Men have been castered in todays world because men are God's glory and we live in an utterly ungodly world. But there is always a way out : through Christ ,men can learn to become men again and symbolically get rid of what is feminine in order to grow as men. They desperately need to go back to the FATHER.

.
There's a man (an unbeliever !) in my country (France) who wrote a very interesting book to denounce the way fathers were treated as "second mothers" and not MEN anymore. He said something that really rang a bell to me as a Christian , that men today feminize themselves by prefering compromize rather than authority.
What precisely characterized Jesus was the total absence of compromize He made with God's Word. He was feared because He spoke with authority . I assume He had a deep voice .

19th century Russian writer Dostoievski said there was nothing manlier than Jesus-Christ.
How couldn't it be so since Jesus is called the New Adam ? If imperfect males are said to be God's glory (1 Corinthians 11) ,what about THE sinless MAN Jesus ? Isn't He the perfect image and glory of God ? Could God glorify Himself in a sissy ?
Jesus today is being feminized by women mainly and the image of christianity is defiled even among unbelievers.
What a shame.

Effeminates shall not inherit the Kingdom of God.

Mark Driscoll is anti-woman.

@insultcomic: How would you know that? Are you a queer yourself or something? People who hate Mark Driscoll are jealous of his ministry. He stands up for truth when 70% of this nations is lost and confused. Listen to his sermons or better yet go to his church before you make outlandish sophomoric statements like this

@chaseren11 Only I was being very serious

@loganbrennis haha That was actually pretty funny :) You definitely made me lol.
I think that the politically correct, overemphasized sentimentality of the evangelical churches in modern day US has hurt the churches credibility with young men. I am pretty sure that Mark is using hyperbole to make the point that we need to embrace risk taking, young, brash men who can shape the church...much like Jesus did when he chose his disciples.
