  • I tried to do that but i cant find a mixing screw anywhere.

  • i did get the coil off, there was a hidden screw behind the magneto, runs great now.

  • i tried wd40 and it didnt work. i even hit it with a hammer and that did nothing!

  • nice paintwork mate my muffler on my old mk15 was choc o bolk with carbon

  • Very nice. On these the timing should be set to 3/16ths of an inch before top dead centre. If you do this you shouldn't need the drill to start it. I had to do that with my mk12, but I reset the timing and she's practicaly on the button now!

    Nice work,

    Phill.

  • i got a mk 10 villers came off a old farmers boy in the 50s

  • i have a villiers and it has such high compression its silly its like its a diesel

  • lean up the fuel mixture shes running like a 2 stroke

  • use heat to pull that pully

  • Good job! that came up nice!.

How'd the coil go on the Mk12?

When I had my Mk12/2 up and running with the Governor on, I tried lowering the idle but without some sort of load on the crankshaft it will idle high or fluctuate.

Same deal with the JAP, i had to use the load of the Smartdrive generator to get it to normalize.
