This guy is totally ignorant. He know's nothing about radiometric dating or genetic dating methods. He also know's little about Biblical "dating" methods. The Bible doesn't say how old the earth is. Bishop Ussher worked this out from non biblical sources plus biblical sources and other dogma of his time. Anyone that says the Bible says the earth is 6000 years old is simple a parrot.

The funny part about this is that the original mutation estimate that led to our modern 'human form' was more than 30x the biblical estimate. Furthermore, the predecessor to the "Adam" and "Eve" about which they're speak was a common ancestor shared with today's hominine primates. I don't see what the biblical celebration is all about in light of these rather damning facts. Finally, the cradle of mankind is in Africa, not the biblical Iraqi Garden of Eden.

SHOW US the model of genetics that backs up the definition of, and demonstrates, "KINDS". SHOW US the microbiological model that shows the KINDS concept is valid. You think studying true science breeds ignorance? We are an ignorant nation because the fundies resist and try to undermine science. It's proven daily every time some home/christian schooled kid shows up spouting hovind (and other MDs/Dentists) with a store bought PhD, showing the same lack of understanding science that they do. It's weakened when the school books are influenced to make them PC and soften the information so no feathers get ruffled. The problem is in the public schools too.

I think some people think that Darwins original theory is like the bible. He said it one day and it's stapled to the wall in every scientists office held to like scripture. It's slowly modified and has new fields of inquiry over two centuries and he wouldn't recognize it today. He would stand in awe at the things we have discovered say, through genetics.
