This is the last song I plan on posting from the New Year's Eve show at Phoenix, AZ to kick off the Reunion Tour. Ozzy sings the full version of Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. Enjoy!

  • this is NOT the full version, as claimed in the description.

  • They've never sung the final verses in concert.

By 'full', I mean it's not the usual "play three stanzas of the riff within a guitar solo because Ozzy chooses not to sing it"

    So don't be a pedantic asshole...ok?

  • karaoke sapatti :)

  • No matter what sub-genre of that is heavy metal today will ever come close to what black sabbath was and are today. Ever.

  • @rockzilla99 YOU GOT THAT RIGHT MY MAN, ATOMICPUNK2112

  • They played full version with Tony Martin on vocals. It can be found on 1994-09-01 Chile bootleg DVD.

  • @cubby3o5

i think that it wasn "full voice" it was mix (chest + falsetto)

  • @danielhehehehe In the cover of Sympathy For the Devil he used falsetto. But in the middle part of My Jekyll Dosn't Hide from the Ozzmosis album I'm pretty sure he uses full voice for the high notes.

  • @Hubertoooso They did it in C with Ozzy's solo band in the '90s. This is C#/Db like the origanal. He did the high notes in the first part of the song with his solo band. It sounds preety good if you take the origanal in to audacity or another sound editor and tune it down to B or Bb. C sounds pretty good too.

  • @satansodyssey

I don't think that lower key is good idea. Riff sounds great in this key and they don't want to change because it can lost some magic, u know what i mean. Anyway many of Ozzy live vocals are changed because he can't sing good live :(

  • @Sartori

Some of final verses are corected by autotune (at studio). Ozzy can't sing them because they are out of his vocal rage.

  • @Sartori wikipedia says it was removed from there setlist very early on

  • @rockzilla99 But I don't have any balls. o_o

  • FK YEAhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! ;-)

  • @Sartori The earliest recording I've been able to find of this song was off Speak Of The Devil from Ozzy in '82, and he didn't sing it. So no, I don't think the last part of the song was ever attempted.

  • @blacksabfan

Did they never even do it when it was new?

  • My Brother and I left Albuquerque at 3:30 in the morning the day of this concert and arrived in Phoenix at 10am and went straight to the B.O.B and bought field tickets! SOULFLY, SLAYER, MEGADEATH, PANTERA, and BLACK SABBATH the best show ever! I still talk about this show! \,,/

  • @IPlayDaBasss they would have to tune the instruments down to about B flat for him to be able to sing it

  • @IPlayDaBasss he cant reach the notes anymore, and the would have to tune to about Bb for him to hit them

  • Why does Ozzy never sing THE MOST metal verse ever written

  • @jfromthismisery damn right brother, it,s so percussive but yet so heavy, that,s because it,s done by a master drummer!!!!!!!!!

  • simply the best!! simply the best!! what else can you say there is nobody heavier than this band, nuff said!!

  • Sounds like Ozzy is not even trying. Rest of band sounds good though, per usual.

    Iommi, Geezer and Bill rule!

  • saw them in 1999, all original members, i jammed air guitar to them the whole time, sent chills up my spine, so cool, bill was awesome to, they were really tight,

  • This song screams out BILL FUCKING WARD

  • also he's actually singing the vocal parts differently here to the studio version anyway, seemingly in order to keep it lower and more manageable.

  • +1 (+1000) I do know why though, or at least I can infer. Presumably Ozzy can't do the falsetto decently. Still lame that they don't even try or alter it to accommodate him.
