@AshNight1214 LOL it was a good romance story, but its accuracy kills me. :)

@MsWanderer3 @234fiola I do the same thing. I took Japanese dance for 10 years. When people think Memoirs of a Geisha is correct, I get pretty defensive. XD

@234fiola Maybe when you like something so much, you become a big critic. Sorry if I offended.

@MsWanderer3 how????

@stenellak That's great!! I used MaxFactor Panstik and Pan-cake (no, 121) for the base and beige component and the oshiroi (the white compressed powder) you have to find at either a specialty store or directly from Japan. Depending on your teacher, they may tell you to do something else (my sister experienced that) but this is to get the basic look. Your teacher probably has the grease paint, blush, and other stuff. Good luck! I'd love to hear how you're doing and liking it! :)

Thanks for sharing! I just starting learning Japanese dance so can you tell me the name of those make-ups and which brand you're using? Thanks a lot.
Reminds me more of kabuki, Geisha are more precise, they use extreme white, they use wax under their makeup. I study geisha, I enjoy your character, and the video is not bad, but not a geisha.

@MsWanderer3 I know. However, not many people would watch the video if I put kabuki or nihon buyo. If it would make you feel better, I can put an annotation at the beginning to let people know. Also, I made this mostly for Halloween and dress up purposes, not necessarily informational, which is why I gave the alternative of using clown makeup and lipstick.
