  • everyone like the show why not make some you guys inspire people?

  • why not do it again make some more sries?

  • @katakisLives Powerful scenes of a character that Patrick Stewart was playing. That wasn't Picard. There was something fundamentally flawed with his character in this, and all the movies. He was written all wrong; as a dumb, emotionally unstable action hero. This is not Picard. The movie is brilliant, if you take Star Trek off it. I will admit, it does feel Star Trekky in some parts, but in others it loses that. And that for me, just ruined it for me.

  • @guywhodances I agree about DS9 for me that was a very underrated series! First Contact however I feel was the high water mark of the new Generation movies! It was dark in places but it was supposed to be! the ideals of what would become the federation emerging from the turmoil of WW3! perfectly scored by Jerry Goldsmith first contact depicted the first steps out of the darkness that is the worst aspects of human nature and had some of the most powerful picard scenes of any movie/episode!

  • @katakisLives He took what Roddenberry did, and made it his own. In a good way, to start. This is true. I loved DS9, weird I know. But First Contact; way too dark and completely wrong. Generations; Awful. Insurrection: Cheap and stupid. Nemesis: *sigh* All his work. Screenplay, storyline, producer or otherwise. He ruined Star Trek, after making it so very good.

  • @guywhodances I don't see how it is wrong, he spearheaded the renaissance of Star Trek with top notch series and movies!

  • @katakisLives You couldn't be more wrong

  • Berman, thank you for the wonderful you have provided Startrek. Without you, Startrek wouldn't be popular in the 90's.

  • That is a man who understood Star Trek.
