u can fly too by jumping then rapidly hitting jump butting while in the air

how do you pass the level that has the 2 sharks in the water? The door at the end leads to an empty room.

I don't know what you're complaining about, I didn't have any problem with the controls. I found the game quite fun. The locales change from level to level also. If you found this difficult, you would flip out at the "3D" overmap bit where you're having to chase the monkey down later in the game. Still, I quite enjoyed it. Oh, and yeah no dialog, because the manga had no dialog. The creator said he thought it would be weird for animals to be talking. And yeah, game over is Gon destroying Earth.

It looks to me like it really captures the spirit of the original manga.

This game is much better if you play it on a super nintendo, and not an emulator.

Try but stomping the ryhno and riding them to the upper/lower passages of the level, perhaps there are there to break holes in the wall.
(I've never played this game, I'm just guessing)

Hey, piss off! Gon is a gem. You're expecting too much action. This is more of an atmospheric title. It grows on you as you progress. Have a little patience. I know the controls suck, but it gets more interesting. Promise. Sort of reminiscent of EVO.
