Now that the iPad is out, I need to point out that the annotation features shown here did not make it into the initial Keynote app release. This was shot at the iPad's introduction running unfinished software.

Do you think the "markup tools" at 0:32 could be used as a sort of "Madden Mode" during a presentation? Circling and highlighting things you want to draw your audience's attention to?

I can't what the red dot "laser pointer" at 0:44 could possibly be used for other than that.
