wow...this is right after floyd had enough of barrett's inability to function at live shows...and was replaced by his good friend dave...must have been a tough time for all....

Dave doesn't have the "twee" voice that Syd did, and while this doesn't sound bad (I love Dave's voice), you can certainly hear the transitional stage. Twee was better done by Syd, Dave's a better rocker. The combination on this version, though, is kinda interesting...

This is a classic Barrett piece of ingenious, albeit with Gilmour on vocals who, incidentally doesn't half sound like Barrett! I totally agree with delpiero37 however-if you think it's Barrett on vocals then you really should research this band a little more.
