I remember the part starting at 2:01 the best. Mei ling was completly ignoring all of snake's questions.
Mei Ling: SNAKE
Snake: Mei Ling! What happened to the colonel?
Mei Ling: I dont believe it!
Snake: WHAT HAPPENED?!!
Mei Ling: SNAKE THE COLONEL!!!!!

Everybody makes mistakes.
(But you still didn't answer my question. Why are you replying to 2 year old comments ?)

@filipeflower And yet you make the overstatement that MOST of the MGS characters are based on Policenauts.
-
Uhm, yeah, I already know that.
(By the way, why are you replying to 2 year old comments?)
Jim Houseman sounds even more sinister in the original Japanese version.

KazuoKiriyama666 ,in case you haven't noticed, most of the characters from 'Metal Gear Solid' were based on characters from the game POLICENAUTS. For example, Meryl was based on other character named Meryl Silverburgh with a very similar resemblance, but in a different story. And small "ingredients" of Solid Snake's personality were based on Dave Forrest. In fact, Solid Snake's real name (David) is a refferrence to Dave Forrest, not David Hayter, like many people think.
