To be honest with you, I'm not sure as I've only made homemade MMF once and I didn't store it. I used it immediately. I don't knowhow to make gel icing for piping. LOL! Sorry I couldn't be of any help. :)

HI James, There are MANY brands of compressors. You don't need a large one. As long as it has AT LEAST 30 psi you should be ok. They all do the same job so don't buy the hype that some are really better than others. You can purchase a small table mount one (like airmaster or kopykake) or a larger one that has wheels & stands on the ground. I've always used large ones but only cuz they've been hand me downs from my Dad. MMF=marshmallow fondant. :)

oh thats ok....so are you using ready made fondant?or are you still making but not the mmf thing?

Thanks! I usually buy Satin Ice fondant. It's the best tasting one I've tried thus far. :0)
