good review , the pronounciation btw is :
nice => nis , and chouffe was not that far off at 0.15sec , but you say the 'ou' a little faster, and wihout the 'w' sound ( not 'chouwffe' ).

Great review, the way you described the flavour made me feel as if I'm the one drinking it! I'm familiar with the brewery, but I've never heard about this particular beer.

Nice review guys!, la chouffe comes out of the french speaking side of Belgium, it means lepricorn... It's a great beer that only became popular let's say the last 6-8 years here in Belgium.
When we have a party here or BBQ we have the regular la chouffe on tap... should say it all!!
If you like the fruity taste of try rodenbach, it's my favorite beer and it's great, if you see it, buy it and taste it.
La chouffe is currently in the hands of the brewery that brews duvel...also a great one!!

That explains the dancing elf on the home page. Did we pronounce it right? I will hunt the other one and will try to find the othe La Chouffe offerings.

I don't know about a beer with thyme for a spice. Just doesn't sound right. good review.

It was hard to pinpoint the flavors in this one it was good though.
