9:40 The registry does tell the police if there’s a registered gun in a house. No doubt, but not if there’s a stolen, smuggled or black market gun. A black market RPD light machine gun can do a lot more damage then a registered muzzleloader ever could.

As a law-abiding Canadian gun owner I am, despite my (entirely registered) guns, two and a half times less likely to kill anybody than you are, as an unlicensed Canadian. So why should the government care about the exact contents of my gun safe when the contents of your kitchen knife drawer go unregistered?
