I am young my peers listen to music with no moral and I listen to people with good moral that had passed on many years before I was born, mainly John. I go walk in the woods, read and write instead of tv i consider electronics a blindfold. we are destroying our world in all ways i wish he was here to sing some common sense, some beauty in the thorns more than that, i wish my peers would listen to his legacy, maybe then we would stop blindfolding ourselves as we drive down that road called life

@howdidienduphere That's so beautiful. I have similar memories with John Denver and Colorado. To me, driving through the mountains on a sunny September day is a little glimpse of what heaven must be like.

I first visited Colorado in 2005. I absolutely fell in love with it. There is a memory in my mind of driving through the mountains with the one that got away. This song was playing on the radio. We held hands, and I felt so at peace by the beauty surrounding us, and the love between us. God, how I miss him now. That's a memory I will always keep close to my heart and turn to when I'm lonely. This song has so much more meaning now that he's gone. Beautiful. RIP John Denver.

I got the sheet music for this =D lovely song.what a fantastic voice! was such a shame he died ina plane crash - what a waste. thumbsup 4 this song.

Yes, it does bring back beautiful memories, especially of the mountains in Colorado where John lived. He was one of the most talented singers and song writers ever and he will never be forgotten. He is missed by so many and will be in our memories forever.
