Ableton and Serato present The Bridge -- a natural link between Ableton Live and Serato Scratch Live. DJ Eskei83 shows how The Bridge allows a DJ to tweak multiple parameters from a Serato Scratch Live mix, resulting in a perfectly refined mixtape.

  • This is just a lazy way of DJ'ing you ain't showing the kind of skills you got if your doing it live. and if you do so call "dj" like this with ableton playing it then that just sucks I play off of traktor and I know how to set up my mixes on the spot because I practice. this is only good if you upload it to a site but if playing live then your just fake.

  • i have a question. if i have midi faders and crossfaders will i be able to map them so i get fader movements just like on a 57 or a 68?

  • @djclixthebeatman no I got the full version. I couldnt figure out what to do so I just re- recorded my mix using the default serato setting. then imported that into ableton. seems to work better that way for now...o_O

  • @donnybran luckiy i just did 30 secs to test it,are you using the free trial version ( i am maybe thats why ? )

  • @djclixthebeatman haha I just made one right now and this is what im going through.

  • just tried this and when i open up live to listen to my mix, there is the separate tracks but no transition between them,ie no mixing ,you can hear all the backspins ,rewinds its like it just records the audio no sign of mixing or using crossfader?

  • @Terorking01

becaue they wrongly believe they are better.

  • I've tried this and it works but for some reason when i use the SP-6 for my drops, they come out choppy and sound as if they were cut in half? What am I doing wrong? Is there a seeting I need to have open?

  • whats the track at 2:50?!

  • I don't know man i am a traktor owner and user and I love it, but this is REALLY cool and a feature that we have nothing even close to unless someone could enlighten me with something that does use traktor in this way. This is very impressive for mixtape djs, it really doesn't get any easier to record your mixtape with full control.
