Those quickly discarded "Cross - [space] - Fire" bridges that come with this mobo are not like the crossfire bridges you get with your videocard. These are 10cm long, which means you can do a dual CrossfireX over both PCI Express X16 slots (2nd one is above the white PCI slot), avoiding the usual PCI-E X8 in the middle.
That gains you a little bit of performance, but more important: if you use aircooling, it leaves a nice corridor of cool airflow between two hot videocards.

@seba3001 I know that the Intel Ich10r has a bandwidth cap of about 700 MB per sec. I was wondering if the AMD 850 had improved beyond the Intel chip. Most Mobo reviews do not check Storage bandwidth to see if the Sata ports operate at their full potential.

@scythe515 Placing too many SSDs on a Raid0 array it's not safe at all, man. I mean, if your system is stable you shouldn't find any problem with 2 SSDs on raid0 in like, years. But placing aditional SSDs to the array increases the data corruption probability exponentially. Bear that in mind, you are sending your stream of data divided (and damn fast), but if a single part fails, the whole data wil be lost.
not only quad crossfire compatible, but floppy compatible too :D
