Evidence in The Search for Barclay's Brush:
All that's left of the abandoned Town of Fairview is an old derelict graveyard. The area is found just outside Oliver British Columbia and was named 'Fairview' back in the 1890's due to its sweeping views. Prior to being dubbed Fairview, it's rumored the area was known by a different name. The rumor suggests a duel or shoot-out took place and tarnished the location's good name as a quiet farming area. The community changed its name to help save its reputation and perhaps protect the identity of an infamous resident.
