@efamite1 yes and no. you can no longer tame them. those who have worgen pets i think will have the normal worg skin and will not have abilities or even have the ability to feed them. to keep them happy you need the glyph of mend pet. Blizzard says they are now considered "trophy" pets. Blizzard apparently dosen't like the fact that hunters can tame worgen (probably because of the ability to play them in cataclysm). i got this all out of WoW wiki.

At the moment, this pet cannot be tamed. Also, those hunters that have tamed it will find that it is bugged on login screen(HUUUGE WOLF), it has half health, and no talents. It cant be fed, or renamed. More info as I get it.

im guessing since WotLK, but it was recently discovered, and will soon be hotfixed(probably tonight). It is garwal, from the quest in Howling Fjord.
