Ok, so how many pilots and how many engineers did it take to build this? I'm having a horrible premonition of my father and his friends spending their retirements building these crazy (but absolutely amazing) contraptions. Nicely done.

Huge and awesome, this is a model of the B29 from WWII. but the smaller plane well make more center weight so the plane will slowly desend if you dont watch it. but that smaller plane is a good recon plane/close incounter plane.

This vid is one of my favorites as well. even though everyone loves the jet off moment.
My personal favorite moment is just as the pilot slows for the release and then the X-1 cuts loose. And almost like a still shot moment you get a glint from the sun right off the wing tip almost as if to say.. "hell yea"
