Of course, then being raped by Sonic doesn't help. He doesn't even have the chance to consider going for men before that happens. Come episode 3, he's been betrayed by both sexes. Sonic's having some sort of orgy in his honor ("people love your dick and they're here to prove it"), which pisses Robotnik off. He crashes the party, shows how insane he's actually gotten, and takes it out on Scratch. Scratch blowing himself up is more or less the last blow. Not hard to imagine what Robotnik does next
