  • no no. This is retarded. The author of this does not understand the experiment. In order for this to have ANY MEANING WHATSOEVER, the user has to have some choice OTHER THAN picking up the key. Watch Derren Brown's Trick or Treat "Don't kill the kitten" episode to see what I mean.

If anything, all you have illustrated here with your "Don't pick up the key, but actually, you only have one choice and that's picking up the key" game is showing how in the modern digital game we have no choices.

  • @keithburgun you can skip the key. then you will cross the blue lock bridge and get another ending

  • what happens if you don't pick up the key

  • @EvanSawyer4 you win

  • @keithburgun Also, remember that this is a videogame. You always have one other choice, which is to exit the game. See The Stanley Parable.

  • I just played this level, and...

"Have you been playing too much Portal?"

    It read my mind.

  • Hmm i'm not sure which to press - like or dislike. Because i BUTTHURT about the ending T_T

  • The level had so many neat design tricks in it and yet it was ultimately so stupid. YES, OF COURSE, if you make a huge deal out of telling people over and over not to do something innocuous, without giving them any explanation why, they will do it just to see what all the fuss is about. There is nothing new or clever about that. XKCD said it well: xkcd.com/169/

That said, I really enjoy your minimalist Let's Plays. They're great for getting a good look at the actual game, if it's short.
