The Chinese Panchen Lama in person

This is a very rare video of the chinese panchen lama, Qoigyijabu's or by his secular name is Gyaincain Norbu. He is seen here exiting the Shigartze monastry in tibet. The Dalai Lama picked a new panchen lama in 1989 but in 1990 china replaced the 7 year old (by making him vanish) with this lad who was then 0. He very rarely leaves bejing and is never seen in public. Note the security unit around him and also how little reverence he is paid by other monks. Most of the roudy crowd behind me are chinese tourists yelling tashidelag and one tibetan woman screaming something unknown.

that man is a sign of the chinese governments immaturity. they should not be taken seriously on the world stage. the governemnt of china are just a bunch of childern with too much power. i wish they would release the real panchen lama

the real Panchen Lama was kidnapped by the chinese government when he was a child, till this day noone knows where he is dead or alive. Soon after the real Panchen Lama "disappeared". The chinese government choose some kid to be Panchen Lama which is this guy we see here. He is also a victim too since he doesn't know his living a lie.

(1) According to tibetan tradition, three boys will be candidates for the new Panchen after the old Pachen died. One of them will be chosen randomly to be the new Panchen, and this procedure is supposed to be surpervised by China government. Then Dalai will officially appoint this chosen boy as the new Panchen.

(2) Dalai did not follow this tradition. He appointed a boy directly without a randomly choosing procedure. However, China government insisted this procedure and another boy was chosen.

I laugh at the Chinese government for trying to regulate reincarnation. You can't control who reincarnates any more than you can control what I typing or what I think.
