lowering your voltage does not harm your computer! but do beware that when the voltage is set WAY too low the computer can not boot up correctly!
please read the manual for further instructions when you are planning to use this program.
Also be carefull not to blow up your cpu by setting the RPM to low. the cpu's max temperature may be a 100degrees celsius!

  • doesn't it affect performance? What about gaming performance?

  • @AuralArt good question...

no it shouldn't effect anything... the point is, as long as the cpu get's enough power to work properly nothing changes... you'll notice the computer will crash when the cpu doesn't get enough power... if that happens, just give it a higher voltage and try again until it's fully stable ;-)

  • H0w do u get istat pro up there?

  • @p2slove1

bought it ;) so you should buy it also :D

  • in fan control my macbook pro 13 is showing the right fan at -1 rmp , and the left one 2500 at 60 C , do you know why the right one is not moving? is there a way I can tell it to move? :) thanks

  • @lizardprince1

i think the fan is moving, and the program "fan control" has a bug, if youre fan doesn't move i recommend you to go to youre reseller :) just for check

  • got any coolbook serial? pls

  • @lizardprince1

Macbook pros 13 inch only have one fan where the 15 and 17 inch have two fans. Fan control is designed to support 13 inch MacBooks as well as 15 and 17 inch. That's why the program states that your right fan isn't moving, you simple don't have a right fan :)

  • can u use this tool to overclock as well

  • @brinjal789 because your mbp 13 inch only has one fan.

  • my mbp 13 inch has a right fan moving at -1RPM! O: why?

  • @lizardprince1 cause there is just one fan, that is why one is not moving
