yeah but, this cartoon is even closer to the real Tarzan from Edgar Rices books than the movie Greystoke! in the movie, Tarzan is raised by chimps, which , isn´t true! he was actually raised by the Mangani ( a kind of missed link) and his best friend is the little monkey Nikima....so I think of all Tarzan´s movies and stuff....this cartoon is the closest to Edgar´s books!

As usual, another good looking Filmation toon with good colors etc. This episode had an interesting title, but it did not have much action, but that is understandable, since I think you have already uploaded most of the best episodes already. :) Now with this episode I may be able to make my first DVD with 28 episodes. If you upload another episode I will wait and see if I can squeeze that on this first DVD.

It is good to end on a laugh - is that not so my friend? But who swings better: Tarzan or Spider Man?

I'll never regret my love of the series as a kid, but the resolution of the good guys' fear of the 'great beast' was pretty cheap.

Great memories, when cartoons were great :)
wow....not seen this since i was what....5 or 6...now 36...i used to love this, i remember not long after seeing this it was bed time, so it must have been shown at about 6 or 7 at night. and it was in the summer as i would see the sun lighting up the curtains.
thanks so very much for the journey down memory lane.
