PSPscene - Coded Arms Contagion - Sony PSP

This video shows a psp slim running "Coded Arms Contagion" via a FS monitor for video output.

Contagion is a decent Doom type FPS for psp.

The graphics are fairly good but you get bored with same type of enviroments as you work your way through the missions.
The enemies are a little bit blocky looking and do the job but are rather basic looking.

Sound is fairly good with nice tempo music kicking in when enemies materialise. Sound effects of weapons are satisfying enough, with decent blast effects.

Gameplay is a blend of searching enviroments for switches and hacking turrets and doors to procceed.
Of course your advancement is plagued by hostile soldiers, flying drones, creatures, turrents ect.
Picking up medical packs, ammo and upgrade points is the usual affair.
Controls are fair enough and are easy to navigate.

If you like Doom, quake II or unreal type games, then this should serve you well, especially if you play the multiplayer game with ten weapons and five maps to choose from.

A fairly decent Blast, that can become boring after a while.

it's a console. with one analog stick.

But for that, it works fairly well although it's strange at first. I modified the controls so that I walk with x, O, square and tri and look around with the analog stick. It's pretty neat once you get into it.

At least the first CA was.
