I took my uncle's Lincoln to Just Brakes a while back because the brakes were too soft. After their little free inspection, they recommended to replace everything other than the hard lines. Parts and labor came to $3200 plus tax! I declined the repair but they wouldn't return the car. They told me how it was unfit for the road and be a danger to me and other drivers. I finally got the key back and drove home. We scrap the Lincoln since the transmission was slipping anyways.

Yep big time scammers with the same ol song and dance every time, you're always gonna need way more than just $99 worth of brake pads with these scammers. Their big pitch line soon as you turn your back is to upsell you with parts and commonly claim your wheel cylinder is leaking and your suddenly looking at several hunfred bucks cuz its a saftey issue. Pure B.S. I remeber they tried this very scam with my faughter and now me.

I Asked For The $99.88 Special And Was Told That It Was Going Going To Cost Me $538.00
When I Told Them No, They Got Very Rude With Me And Tried To Disable My Car With A Couple Of Clamps On My Brake Lines So My Brakes Would Not Work At All
I Removed The Brake Line Clamps In Their Parking Lot And Drove Home With Their
Clamps In My Trunk
I Had My Brakes Fixed At Another Reputable Repair Shop For Under $150.00
Avoid These Repair Shops At all Costs

Just brakes is a rip off! They tell you $99 on TV, just to get you to come in. While you are there, they will keep tacking on charges and saying they need to fix something else! They will keep tacking on charges until you tell them to stop and get pissed off about it. Some people end up paying $400 for their $99 deal! Then they mess up some cars.
The Internet is full of complaints about this place. You should look them all up. Don't go to Just Brakes, trust me.
