ya the system is a degree complex but like most rpg settings its easy to devorce the setting from the rules.
the books are out now they just released a npc colection the game screen sunward and the corebook are out though look for it underposthuman brand is they nolonger are a part of the catalyst company.

i was talking about the bata that us testers played vrs the final release witch has sence been revised in the pdf but not sure if the revised has yet been done to the print book yet.
creative commons is a good move to bad that catalist and posthuman are no longer working together but posthuman has been improved with catalyst and them splitting.

If you're going to have aliens, make them weird. Excellent! :)
Also, the creative commons move is wonderful. I wish them success, whatever that term means for Transhumanity :)

@darkestarx I heard there was a revised edition out, maybe that was the PDF. Is that what you're talking about, or the older version?

@aikighost The percentile resolution mechanic and Moxie seem simple enough to me, but I haven't read all the way through yet. What other stuff is in there? I'm a rules light fan myself, but I tend to make my own systems that fit the setting anyway. The setting is dynamite, though, so the system to me isn't terribly important.

Good game system is a bit overly complex for my liking though. I'm a real rules light fan.

Sounds interesting, I'll have to keep an eye out for this product.

eclipse phase is a fun game allthough the the core book has some main flaws. any gm and player past the few flaws. also the rpg has a fan friendly support system. if u injoyed shadowrun or stardrive ull like the story arc of eclipse phase
that idea of having your PC's mind saved into a computer system, that reminds me of the Takeshi Kovacs books by Richard Morgan.
I love that idea!
oh and the mental illness growing... Pandorum!
I'm so getting that game, if just to collect it!

This game rules, I've played it in two campaigns and it is way fun. There's room for a cyberpunk style campaign, or a far future utopian setting, or just plain hollywood-style sci-fi horror.
