Good video. Exactly the point. When you are poor and you hear a rich rock star getting upset your downloaded their music, its like the artist is spitting in your face.

@MrROTD I think your own personal problems with life should be kept offline. Lars himself has reformed his beliefs; he reluctantly supports piracy of music, because people who would have never heard Metallica have now gotten to enjoy them. It's not about the money, it's about the enjoyment of art. If a kid who can't afford a twenty dollar CD has to download it to escape his own troublesome world, he deserves it.

I'm with Lars on this now, why do you think concerts cost way too much and we have the recording industry waging war on the internet as we know it? It's a matter of morality, I can't think of any excuse for stealing. Many of you that dl illegally would never steal a dollar from your Mom's purse but you'd steal online without a care.

@Shinobubu Go steal a Metallica CD from a store. When you get caught, the band won't find out about it, you won't get charged millions of dollars, and you're likely to get a slap on the wrist. Go download a Metallica CD, and if by some miracle you get caught and have a crappy lawyer, the band will find out about it, the record company will sue you, and you'll face a long jail sentence and have to pay millions. See the difference? If I made millions, I wouldn't care.
