nevermind, you hust hid the rod from the camera

Yes, in the shot with him flipping over the robot, the rod is hidden by his body and the camera is perpendicular to the plexiglass so you see right thru it. If you go to my website: homepage(dot)mac(dot)com/ronin­sfx open the resume page, which is the public folder page and download the LargeDuel.mov and you can frame by frame thru the film ( you will see the rod in a couple of frames ;) )

i know how you did the laser beam and the plexiglass for the flipping, but how do you make the plexiglass and the rod thats holding him disappear?

I'm confused. Which shot are you talking about? When he is flying into camera? Or leaping over the robot?
