Filmed with the Sanyo Xacti DMX CA-100 underwater camera in August 2010. Camera is very easy to use in video mode, and the results underwater (both audio and video) were fantastic and clear. However, we had some issues getting to grips with the still image capture facility. You have to press very hard and in a precise area of the button to get the camera to take a still image. There is a significant amount of shutter lag and the camera takes quite a while to turn on and off. The menu system is buried in subcategories so it's not quick to navigate through the different options, especially underwater. Having said all that, we were so pleased with the HD quality footage we took on holiday and it was very lightweight and comfortable to hold. Macro setting is incredible (more video footage coming soon). Although we did use a completely different wrist strap because the provided one was inadequate and flimsy. All in all, well worth the money for a lightweight, durable and robust, high quality HD underwater still and movie camera which we used both in the pool and sea with no problems whatsoever (important to note, thoroughly clean the camera with freshwater and allow to dry after each use to prevent corrosion.
I miss it so much :( I was there last summer <3
