  • @Gradivarius That is fantastic. And in less than one man-year! Very impressive. It even sounds like the big ones :-)

    Since you designed it yourself, how much info did you have of the full size to start with? Did you have to modify the wing sections for your scale plane? What is the scale takeof weight compared to a full-size?

    Pretty amazing project!

  • @vibratingstring hello, the wing profile is "Epler-195" and the takeoff weight is 14.3 Kg.

    I made my own drawings from a 3 view drawing and a lot of photo's from the internet.

    The total build time (resurge, disigne, drawing, building and finishing) was 1700 hours

    in 3.5 years, the maiden flight was begin march 2011 and up to now i made 38 sucesful

    lights of an average of 6 minutes.
