@riesreport Actually, the distance between you and your microphone is just right -- about three fingers between your mouth and the microphone. That gives the sound person the ideal amount of sound to work with. If you're concerned with the "puff" sound when you say words that start with "p", you can take that out with a good EQ, or a piece of foam around the mic head.
