Here's a demonstration of the "Frozen Rope." For those not familiar with that term, it describes a type of shot the late great Dick Weber was famous for. It was a common practice for Dick Weber to throw the ball harder and straighter to the pocket. This is what I did in the 9th frame of the last game of singles competition at the USBC National Tournament in Las Vegas March 2009.

  • wow that was awesome. Straight up the third arrow, and the pins just DIE. Trouble is, theres not much entry angle or forgiveness with the frozen rope. Then again Dick Weber was bowling I believe during the plastic ball era, so...
