Not a whole lot to say here except this is just a great song that had to be done. It is a song that Pat and I have talked about doing for a long time, but just never got around to doing...I hope you all enjoy it. As a side note...the guitar I'm playing is the first guitar I ever owned, my Dad bought it for me when I was about 8 years old to learn on, later after I "upgraded" to other guitars we gave that guitar to Grandpa Cothern which he played for years at our family get-togethers. I got it back after he passed away, so it's very sentimental for those reasons...and it still doesn't sound half bad either.

  • At first i thought two losers ... drunk like me in the garage trying to be somewhat of a musician...but scratch that now that i hear your video...wow..the guitar player .. hats off to you....wow how you capture the harmony....and singer....you capture the intensity of the song in the wimpsidy of your voice..GREAT JOB guys......wooooow...sooo gooooood!!!

  • LMAO....well don't know about the loser part one way or the other....I'm sure that's open for debate, but I'm sure we probably did end up drunk in the garage...LOL. Seriously though, thanks for the compliments

  • I'm gonna try the guitar on this in open E- is this how the original is done?

    Great job, BTW.

The vocals are stellar here...outstanding range.

  • First of all thank you very much. And yes the song is done in open E. But I do have to warn you though that it is pretty hard on the neck of guitar to tune in open E, hence the reason I did it on my old Yamaha, and not my newer Ibanez. I have broken strings twice now while tuning it to open E. It sounds great this way but can also be played in standard tuning...just doesnt sound quite as good.

  • REALLY GOOD!! loved it!! your right it sounds great!! what kind is it?

  • Thanks.....it's just an old Yamaha, not sure of the model

  • Singer is pretty good. The guy playing guitar looks really tense, and gets lost at times. You should just relax and have fun with it.

  • Glad you're keeping that guitar alive and sounding amazing! Great job guys!
