GENESIS tells the story of Creation.
EXODUS, the freedom of a nation.
LEVITICUS, NUMBERS, DEUTERONOMY,
and JOSHUA headed up the Jewish army.

Next thing I remember,
the JUDGES were in charge.
After RUTH met Boaz,
now she's living large.
David got his kingdom in
SAMUEL 1 & 2,
Solomon took 1st & 2nd KINGS,
now the kingdom's split in two.

1st & 2nd CHRONICLES tells of that
priestly kingdom retold.
EZRA helped the remnant escape
out of Babylon's hold.
NEHEMIAH wasn't too far behind,
he wipped those Jews back into shape.
ESTHER was crowned the Queen of Persia
'cuz the King just could not wait!

Join me now as we flip on
through the Bible,
and we'll begin to learn
the basics of survival.
The chosen people of God
and all their stubborn ways,
isn't it good to know,
we serve a God of grace?

Now, Satan and God
had a little competition.
But JOB came through.
It doubled his provision.
David sang PSALMS
and rejoiced in the Word.
Solomon shared some wisdom
in those PROVERBS.

Vanity is futile,
ECCLESIASTES makes clear.
Solomon sings a song (SONG OF SOLOMON)
about a love he holds dear.
ISAIAH shows God's mercy 'cuz
Messiah's on the way.
JEREMIAH tells of judgment for
the people who won't change.

He lamented (LAMENTATIONS) daily, Jerusalem's undone.
EZEKIEL makes it clear one day,
the Shepherd will come.
DANIEL and his friends were captive,
Babylon became their home.
The fiery furnace and the lions' den,
but, they were not left alone.

HOSEA marries Gomer.
JOEL's locusts attack.
AMOS was a farming man.
OBADIAH cut Edom no slack.
Something's fishy about JONAH...
MICAH pinpoints Bethlehem.
NAHUM forewarns Niniveh.
HABAKKUK lives by faith in Him.

ZEPHANIAH says
the day of the Lord is coming soon.
Consider your ways,
HAGGAI reminds of impending doom.
Rebuild the Temple,
ZECHARIAH wants obedience.
The messenger of MALACHI,
400 years of silence.

Now, I hope you've enjoyed
the tour of all the titles.
And, I hope you'll learn
the story of the Bible.
From beginning to end,
He shows us the way.
If we'll just listen to Him,
He's got plenty to say.

Why?
Because, this is God's love letter to you!!!

I find it ironic that those lines follow each other. God having a competition with Satan and torturing someone just to prove a point to win a bet with Satan. You call this grace?

Oh, but he doubled his money and belongings! Wait, didn't his entire family get killed in the exchange? Good lesson from the Bible kids - Money is more important than family.

So he replaced his old family with twice as many new people? Didn't Job love his original family? Or did he like his new wife(s) and kids better?

Would you consider it a reward if God used you in a bet like this, and your entire family died, but you would get a new, bigger family later?

I'm sorry, but there is no way to justify this. It is one of the most disgusting stories in the Bible. No one in their right mind should even try to justify it.

@goonodeath and you're listening to what the world's telling you. Based on my experiences and feelings, I can easily believe that God exists. So does the devil. Satan is why we have evil in this world. Don't ask me for all the answers; I don't have them- but neither do you. Have you ever stopped to consider you were wrong?

@GenghisKrahn Yes we are created in his image, but he also gave us free will. He gave us the choice to follow him or not. He wouldn't be a loving God if he forced us to do his will. Out of love he gave us a choice. He made no mistake, Adam and Eve did.

If you were to make this robot, and it went out, destroyed the town, and killed people, you as it's creator would be accountable, and you'd be the one to receive the punishment, not the robot.

@princessbilliot Well, if I were to say to you "Do what I say, or die" I may be technically giving you a choice, but it's not a fair choice, and you're not really letting the person excersize their free will. Why give someone free will if you're going to punish them for using it?

Beyond that, if anyone is to 'blame' for the tortures of hell, it would be the god, since I'm sure you believe he created it, and the rules that send people there.

@GenghisKrahn Follow me or die is not a threat. It's a choice. That is your free will. God does not make you obey him. If you choose to blaspheme him and deny him then, yes, you go to Hell. But you don't have to, so you cannot blame it on him. The hard times in life are meant to make you stronger and draw you to God, so once again, it's your choice as to what you will do.

God created human's and they completely turned against him! As the creator he had every right to destroy them in the flood. And, he did it to give mankind as a whole a second chance....btw..the failed AGAIN and continue to yet he continued to show mercy when he sent his son to DIE for YOU!
