I think a better comparison for today would be the McLaren F1 GTR vs the Ferrari FXX, which is pretty much like what McLaren did to the F1. The Enzo was stripped of much of its luxury items and interior, given a drastic HP increase, and other mods to make it a true supercar... too bad its not road legal. LOL, which I guess the GTR has a clear advantage of...

I know that section of road very very well. I'm not going to say where it is but it goes between two villages and isn't really patrolled due to being over a boarder.

Mclaren originates from New Zealand. Its founder was the late Bruce Mclaren who was a top grandprix driver of the day and also built other race winning cars ie canam series.
