@dougpryce92 no sir, they played this for the ending credits for MGS3. I think the only difference was the guitar solo added in.

Im 18 years old, i remember playing the first Metal Gear in 2nd Grade. So many years, so many wonderful memories. And this song brings them all back, it reminds me of every Metal Gear Solid and the happiness it brought to me and it brings a tear to my eye everytime i listen to this song. I will truely never forget Metal Gear Solid and all the characters. It is just simply amazing and so much more than a video game. This game can just be classified as Epic. I Love Metal Gear Solid.
