Chapter 7
**JUNE**
L: Do you have enough stuff in here?
[Lauryn was sitting on Alyses suitcase, which was absolutely overflowing, trying to get it shut.]
A: Im gonna be gone for three months, I need a lot of supplies.
[The door bell rang just as Alyse zipped up the suitcase. She ran to the door and threw it open to reveal Nick, who she flung her arms around.]
N: Um..hi [He hugged her back.]
A: Hi. [She smiled as she let him go and stepped back to look at him.]
N: What?
A: I just want to remember what you look like. [She pulled out her phone and took a full length picture of him.] Is that a new outfit?
N: Yeah, part of the new wardrobe for the tour.
A: Oh. [She frowned at the mention of the tour; she had hoped they wouldnt talk about it today, their last day to hangout together.]
N: So..um..are you ready to go?
A: Yeah. [She grabbed her purse off the table and they went back out to the limo.
First they went to brunch, where they ate entirely too much, and sat there for an extra half hour trying to digest their food so they could walk again. Then they walked through Central Park, getting some cotton candy at one of the venders. They found a deserted playground and acted like they were six again, even running through a field of pigeons, finally collapsing under a tree as they watched them fly away.
Nick checked his watch.]
A: Got somewhere to be?
N: Yeah, right here, with you. [He grabbed her hand and pulled her up.] But we do have a schedule, so we should get moving.]

**three hours later**
[The limo pulled up to the curb right behind a taxi with Deanna leaning against the trunk. Nick and Alyse got out, laughing, and Deanna walked over to them.]
D: So how was the big day?
A: Great. We just came from seeing Mamma Mia {AN-just got the movie version for x-mas, LOVED IT!!} on broadway. It was amazing [She beamed at Nick, who took her into his arms.] Thanks so much.
N: Youre welcome. [He snuck a peak at his watch while he hugged her, then quickly pulled away.] Crap, I gotta get back to the apartment. Im not even finished packing and were supposed to leave for New Jersey in about an hour. [He sighed, then pulled Alyse in for another hug.] Im gonna miss you.
A: Youll be back before you know it. [She kissed his cheek, then turned to Deanna.] My stuff is upstairs.
D: Alrighty, lets go. Bye Nick.
N: Cya Deanna. Bye Alyse. [He squeazed her hand one last time before getting into the limo. She stood bye the sidewalk, watching until the limo had merged into the thickening traffic.]

short, but sweet!! & sorry for the long skip in time, but i'm tired of fillers, so i'm cutting right to the chase. and obviously, the chase starts in june ;)
