@2dannyc89 No, he didn't like the easy way to bring that message across, he agreed with the message, but thought that this wasn't the type of music S&G were all about.

I just read an old interview from Rolling Stone with Paul Simon, and he says that Grafunkel didn't want to release this song and that he wanted to do "a Bach chorale thing" instead.

Notable que se hayan atrevido a tocar esta canción en un país donde estaban todos vigilados por los terroristas de la CIA. Nixon culiao, genocida asqueroso.

great song. very rock and roll for s&g. i do think it would fit on the album tho, definitely no less than a "baby driver" or "keep the customer satisfied". But still BOTW is such a great album, its hard to argue any different song choices. like i said, great song.

@CheezzHeat I can see why he felt that way. This sounds like Jerry Lee Lewis.

lyrics anyone?

Would they sing now "Gaddafi Si Obama No"? Bob Dylan was right... The times they are a-changing.

Who the f ist Garfunkel?

There's a reason this song didn't make the album. Thank God for someone with common sense.

@mtopper66 I read their biography, and it seems they broke up mainly because they both started to have other interests (as in trying out newer sounds and also Art's acting career).

Paul Simon now acknowledges that Garfunkel was right to insist that this not go on the "Bridge" album.
who is singing ? Paul only or both ? It is a great song.

Just paul, apparently art didnt like the politics of the song and wanted nothing to do with it.
