My father was incarcerated in a German camp and when they heard that troops have landed in Normandy they started dancing. The SS guards did not like that and put a gun on his head. He didn't tell me the details, but he said that they were greateful to all these men who landed. My father passed away, but our family will never forget. I hope that one of these men reads this. Thank you all and god bless you.

Beautifully edited. Dick Winters on camera starting at 5:10 and then off and on from there. Died at age 92, last week. His fellow heroes welcomed him in Heaven, I am sure. Bless them all.
