  • I could "kick" whoever was the first person to write a song w/almost the identical words in it. I KNEW that I knew that I knew that there was a song called "Beulah Land" & there was the African American Spiritual "In The Land of Beulah." I just spent @ least 1-1 &1/2 hrs. trying to find the former. This wasn't the 1st time I looked for it. I thought I was going to lose my mind! THANK YOU YOU TUBE! Is there any way you can make it easier to find songs like these 2?

  • @buenavozalasdoce Sorry about your frustrations during the hunt for Buleah Land, but glad you finally found it.

  • I love this song so. We sing 'a cappella' in my church. It's so blessed to hear Christians 'singing and making melody in their hearts', only with the instrument God gave us, our voice. Praise to God.

  • Yes, if you were raised in an acappella singing church, this type of singing does become part of you. At least, that's how it was for me.

  • It is maddening to try to find THIS--the original, real, 1875 Edgar Stites "Beulah Land"-- on youtube. The rest are the misnamed 1979 hymn, "SWEET Beulah Land"--- a beautiful song but it is NOT "Beulah Land"! I wish the people who post hymns would at least post them by their right names!

  • @buenavozalasdoce It must have been a year or so. I almost gave up, I kept getting the other one

  • @snowleopard205 How long did it take you to find this hymn?

  • @buenavozalasdoce I know exactly what you mean, I've gone through the same thing with this song and "Man In the Middle" by Wayne Watson. But what a great feeling when you finally hit the jackpot and find the right one!

  • @w3tno Thank you very much. I'm sure I heard the hymn @ 1 of the churches I went to & I know a friend introduced me to "The Land of Beulah." I'll have to think about which one I like better.
