What is BitLocker?

http://live.pirillo.com - BitLocker is an add on for Windows Vista Ultimate edition that will encrypt your hard drive. This handy little tool will communicate with a chip called a TPM in order to ensure the operating system hasn't been tampered with. If everything is secure, Vista will boot up. In my opinion...and this is JUST an opinion...Microsoft should have only one version of Windows, and it should automatically come with BitLocker.

The cool think with Truecrypt is that you can create a decoy OS install. It has allowed people of suspected torrent sharing from being charged as for 1. giving up their password is self incriminating and second if someone asks to see your computer you can boot up and enter a secondary password and that will trigger it to boot into a second OS partition and that system will not see the other. its a neat trick to hide your stuff.

its only for windows 7 ultimate you can play about $120 usd for the anytime upgrade or checkout a open source app called truecrypt

I have windows 7 home premium so obviously i don't have bitlocker, does anyone know a similar FREE program that kinda does the same thing as bitlocker?

Alright man, i get this video is old. Pirillo, don't get mad and hack my computer but why do you have an alternate meaning behind every thing you say. If you denounce Vista just say that. Now a days Vista is alot better. I use a modified gamer edition that only uses 300megs of ram to run, anyone can use it and get DX10 support.

they should have left XP alone and only created one version of vista ONLY in 64 bit. So when the time came everyone makes the transition.. but you got 32 bit versions of vista and 64 bit versions of xp and it just fucks EVERYTHING up...
