@justrezzz He didn't want anything to do with raising Weston until he turned 18. Then Nic bought him a house and gave him his own money, and in return dear ol' dad gets to make money off of his son's genius comic book ideas by turning them into films. All the while Weston (who is mentally ill, I believe with Borderline Personality Disorder) is going untreated, which leads to incidents like the one last week with his trainer.

According to his ex, he was never around his son the whole firsr 18 years of his non-adult life. So, either he is a BIG time liar or she is!!!
