This slideshow features a special part of the 1987 John Denver concert in Aspen, CO. The songs features in this video have never been sung by John in any other concerts.
First, John sang the song "Lovesick Blues" himself. The song was originally sung by Hank Williams and can be heard in the fim "Foxfire".
Then, he invited his friend, another singer Denny Brooks to the stage and sang a funny version of "I Could Love a Million Girls" with Denny. Denny also sang "Avocado" - a parody of the Eagles classic "Desperado" himself.
After singing with Denny, John invited his second wife Cassandra Delaney to the stage and sang "Crying Time" & "Hey, Good Looking" with her.
Enjoy this rare performance! I hope someday a video version of this concert can be revealed.
THIS WAS AWESOME. I LOVE TO FIND THESE TREASURES SO THANKS FOR PUTTING THEM OUT HERE.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Few things if any of John Denver's attributes were real, including his name, which actually was not "Denver." Is it any wonder that many Coloradans didn't like him or the idea that he claimed to represent Colorado? In their view, he ripped the state and associated himself with a mystique and lifestyle that he never really owned.
