@eantek This movie is awesome! I own it on DVD-gets regular viewing.
Who couldn't like this movie? It has romance, comedy, gun and katana fight scenes, good action, and good story.
It was over-the-top but that was part of the charm.
Am getting this on Blu-ray

Just watched this. Simple Japanese entertainment. Fun and doesnt take itself too serious. You know if this was American it would be full of that sickly green colour the screen goes in modern horror when shit is about to happen and it would be full of screaming models and guys who look like wimps but somehow still kick ass.

One of the wildest zombie films i've ever seen.

I like how it's all old-fashioned special effects, no computers. It's much more entertaining when you know something is obviously fake, especially when zombies are involved.
That aside, most people are missing the main point of the film, it's not just blood and guts and swords and guns... there's an eternal battle between you and your soul going on, and this is a representation of this. All films are a representation of this.

sadly, this trailer doesn't even begin to do the film justice imo
so just watch it, try to find the "Ultimate Versus" Dir. Cut that re-edits and adds newly filmed scenes to better flesh out the whole story!
