i will say i do give quite a damn about gitmo, quite much so considering it has to do with the morality of the US. its important to sort it out, but first obama should work on the economy and then work on gitmo.

Mate what are you talking about? First of all, I haven't paid attention to anything R's say in years. I'm talking about the fact that if the bill was passed before the public option was included you could go to JAIL if you didn't buy it. Second, I'm a damn libertarian don't include me with the fucking republicans.

You can be fined and put in jail if you don't buy his healthcare. He calls it optional government healthcare, but it isn't optional in the least. The only way the bill passed in the Senate was with the public option. Which to my knowledge made the healthcare actually optional.

The way I understood the whole prison thing was that you face a fine if you can afford insurance but don't buy it, and if you fail to pay the fine then prison is a possibility along with a larger fine. Similar to how required car insurance works here.

One of the first things he signed was that he will not have any lobbyists in his administration.

We (america) need to stop thinking that heavily taxing businesses is a great idea. That money should be going to employees, and I don't mean CEO, CFO, executive, management either. I mean the people who DO the work. even if they don't need it. The fact is that these CEOs don't need to be making seven figure, 300x the average employee's size salaries. It's out of control.
Also the kid should have been named Captain and middle name Falcon.
