First off I do not support taxing the rich anymore then anyone else. I think it should be a fair tax no loop holes just a plan and simple fair tax. That way everyone want's to do better for themselves and make more money. Right now if you make a ton of money you can find all kinds of loop holes that I do not support. Nor do I think taxing 50% is a good idea at all. No one is willing to work hard or create more jobs when they are being taxed that much. Ask the USSR. ;)

Well john when the liberals in the whitehouse and congress tell you 1- you must play the lottery 2- how much you must spend on it and 3- not playing the lottery means you go to jail you can call that healthcare.

With you paying your mtg, money supply kept shrinking (debt paid=money dstroyd) & I couldn't get a new loan from banks to offset that. With shrinking money supply economy goes down & Gov decides to take 1 for the team & assume DEBT (stimulus) & inject into economy. Now which $ will travel the most before hitting a saver? A tax cut $ (however deserved) given to financially nervous you & me who'll save it for rainy day or the $ that hires an unemplyd who'll turn around & buy badly needed grocery?

I repeat, we get the most economical bang for that single $ when it is spent (changes hand) over & over & over again before it hits a wise guy who saves it or uses it to retire debt. While saving & debt paymt is good for us individually, it's horrible for the economy. Both take the money out of circulation. Especially debt payment shrinks the size of money supply (debt paid = money purged), unless another poor soul borrows an eq or bigger amount & injects it to the economy (new debt= new money)

FoundingFather, economical activity happens when s/t is "purchased". I as a manufacturer can create 1000's of advanced machinery but unless s/o "purchases" them from me, they're as good as a pile of horse manure. Economical activity & employment happens when a service or product is "purchased". There are two ways to get that economic activity going.
The more a $ changes hand, the more often the same $ purchases s/t, before it hits a saver or debt payer, the more it creates activity.

FoundingFather, I'm trying to steer the discussion away from left vs. right divide for now, b/c this Frankenstein system of money creation and our absolute dependence on banks, the "only" sources of money creation (= debt), should concern both conservatives & liberals.
