@TheJcbach1961 dont diss yngwie yet couse this guy maybe is a better composer and i do listen to hansson and yngwie at the same time...i like hanssons music more becouse yngwie pretty much plays stuff over and over again...But i like yngwies stage performance better and he is faster that hansson...but if you look from a different angle hansson is a better musician becouse he knows more how shall i say it....diversity more melodies and such...Cant say either are better...just the matter of taste

Wow, I had no idea there was a video for this song. Very cool! JH is a very underrated guitarist. The album Universe by Silver Mountain is superb. He is not quite as clean and shredding as Yngwie but his playing is more melodic and purposeful.

It so sad that You never hear about Jonas Hansson? The Godfather of Neo-Classical Rock. I have been trying to findout anything about this Man. Yngwie might have made it more well know but lets give Credit where it Belongs.

Try giving Uli Jon Roth - Venga La Primavera a try a taste of what I am talking about.
I do love some of the ideas and images in this video though. Would have been nicer with a larger budget.

Glad to have raised a smile across the pond! The harmonic minor scale is great fun but its limitations have now been stretched and exposed for well over two decades. Ritchie Blackmore was playing stuff like this in the late 70s - at least Malmsteen acknowldges that much - but anyone under 30 imagines it all as new and so terribly innovative. The neoclassical rock and metal bands these days are all cut from the same cloth; and they are all as unimaginative as each other.
