Devo performs "Gates of Steel", Live in Concert, November 2009, in San Francisco at the Regency Ballroom.

This Concert is part of a special concert where the album "Q: Are We Not Men? A: We are Devo" is played in its entirety. This particular song is from "Freedom of Choice", songs they played in the Encore after they completed playing the full "Are We Not Men?" album.

Great high energy show!

Yes, the crowd moves (and sometimes, the camera with it).

Devo is re-releasing their two albums: "Q: Are We Not Men? A: We are Devo", and "Freedom of Choice", with Digital Remastering and other new tracks.

  • I was there and I can testif y the gospel of De-Evolution was delivered with a burning intensity that night.

    Amazing!

  • They did Rock!

  • @LostInEthernet Dude I was wondering if you used a camera or phone? The quality's not bad!

  • @Putomass66 It was a camera. The video phones do not have good quality. Even the Flip might not be able to handle the sound and there's a lot of distortion. Small digital cameras which can shoot HD video is better.

  • going to the Chicago show on 11/13/09! Any secrets you want to give to your fellow spuds?

  • 1. If you want to get near the stage, you need to come extra early.

    2. There might be two songs where Mark goes down to the audience. Be prepared to answer the questions: "What is your Left Hand Doing?", "What is Your Right Hand Doing?"

    3. You might want to memorize or print out the track listings.

    4. There may be flying objects FROM the stage such as flying Energy Dome "frisbees" :)

    Enjoy!
