  • lol ya, so safe...i got a concussion doin a simple 360 a couple weeks ago cause i caught an edge. it was a routine trick for me and i got a concussion!

  • WTF? what tips did this guy give? to board on top of a stick and magically u will be able to do a 180 or 360 on a box? this is shit!

  • @Inshredible. Depends on which way you're sliding. Both sides, land soft on the box, soft as you can, stay low with knees bent and loose. Front boardslide, get your weight a bit forward, toward the end of the box (actually, you want it centered, but it will feel like "forward" your body will want you to lean back). Back boardslide, stick out your butt in a 2/3 squat, emphasis on butt out. Doing this will help keep your centered and keep that board from kicking out from under you.

  • once your on the rail be sure to focus on the end of the box....???

  • SUCKS that i live in the UK....

  • thats a box not a rail hershberger

  • @Bugaduh42

    true that! lol

  • even if I only learned how to snowboard twice... This is my goal for Feb. I have mastered speed and turning.

  • I can boardslide on a rail but i cant land on the rail in the position to boardslide very good cause i slip out and bust ass sometimes? how do i not do its?

  • actually, riding over a stick is a perfect way for noobs to practice lining themselves up. Everybody's gotta start somewhere.

And yes, looking at the end of the rail/box is probably the most important thing to keeping your balance.
